Yes Chaos Legion is mostly an average action game but it can be entertaining. The storyline is pretty simple but not so bad. Its about a man named Sieg who tries to stop the evil Delecroix from doing something evil which is like many storylines. The characters are pretty cool such as Sieg' Ariel' and Delecroix. If only the storyline wasn't so simple. Throughout most of the game you play as Sieg' the main character. He wields a blade. You will have to hack your way through 14 levels to complete the game. This might sound easy but even on easy difficulty the game puts up a challenge. You should start the game out with easy mode. You will also be able to summon legions to fight by your side which you unlock more of throughout the game. You can upgrade a legion's attack' defense' how many can be fighting' and other stats but only through experience points. If you want to give a legion more experience points simply send them into battle or use an experience gem on them. Each legion is unique and switching between them would be a good idea. While hacking through your enemies keep in mind that you can just push the triangle button in the middle of your combo to do a team attack with your legion but this will drain 1 bar from your soul meter which can easily be regained by hacking at your enemy again. If you have a legion summoned you can make them rapidly attack by repeatedly pushing triangle but then you have to walk slowly and you yourself can't attack. There is at least 1 battle at the end of every level which is unique but after playing previous levels you will get used to the tactIcs needed to defeat the boss you are fighting at the moment. Aside from playing as Sieg you can play as his gun wielding partner Ariel. With her 2 pistols she has unlimited ammo. Her silver bullet however does run out of ammunition.(Its a very powerful attack.) She can fight in close combat as well. Since normally she can only be played as in 1 level you will have to beat the game on normal before you can just play as her normally. Well I suggest renting this game first to see if you will really like this game because I had fun alot of the time and sometimes I really got bored. Keep in mind that the gameplay can get repetitive but it isn't a terrible game.
