Much improved on CM5, this is now a viable option to the PC version.

What can i say it's just like the CM programmers understood what was missing & made the effort to include it in this version. Yes there is a longer learning curve to this version over the last, but the 1st time you play have the help switched on because it does work by guiding you through everything that you need to learn this time around.

Formations have been adjusted so that the classsic 4-1-3-2 formation is now recognised not just listed as either 4-4-2 attacking or 4-3-3. A major improvement is also that your team performs differently at home to away so there are at least 2 formations that you need to have available. Players who were not included in the last version are now included here, scouting has been improved also, so that you can buy realistic players for your club. The menus are fairly simple to navigate once you have checked the rule book for clarification. A major plus to the rule book now is giving you the major stats required for players in each postion now allowing you to sort your tatics down to each player.

Game saves are now less room than the previous version which is another bonus, meaning less memory needed on the card!!

There are now challenges for you to attempt rather than just play classic CM, these are worth a look because they make you a better manager when you do play classic CM.
Other changes included in this version are the benefactor option which gives you a Roman Abramovic style chairman who gives you vast sums of money to spend, allowing you to attract better players to your club sooner but the downside to this is that they expect success sooner.

I would say that this is a good attempt at a viable alternative to the PC version & offers a better gameplay than some of the other manager sims available.
