Ahh yes, chameleon twist, that old freakish barely known N64 game... I haven't played it in a while, but I remember enough to give a review. So, the story is, you are a chameleon who sees a white rabbit going by, and If I remember, It hops into a pot. You, being a curious little chameleon, follow. You can pick from one of four chameleons, of course, the only difference is the color and number (I'll get to that later), which means that there is really no reason to pick one over another, and for some reason, they didn't name any of the chameleons alice, which would have been fitting. so, anyways, your chameleon wakes up in a wierd world where almost everything wants to kill it, but that's not all, it looks REALLY different, it is more humanoid, has shoes and a backpack, and a number on its chest, so now, it has to try and find a way to change back. So now we get to the gameplay, and even though the storyline is whacked up, the gameplay is fun... at times. So, you can make the chameleon stick out its toung and you can even guide the path, thus making it hit a pole, which you can either grapple to and swing around, or putting the toung through enemies, so, once you have slurped up some enemies, you can spit them out like a machine gun. you can also use your tounge to pole vault, now, these are the fun things, other then that, it can get pretty bad, you don't really have to worry about enemies that much, but the puzzles are sometimes hard and sometimes easy, and at some points, there are sub bosses that are really hard. I have only ever completed the first level, oh, you can pick levels in almost any order you want by the way. Now, the multiplayer, seeing as it mainly sticks to the fun aspects, is rather fun for a while. In any case, this is a game that would be great to make a sequal to (or in this case, a third installment of, seeing as there is a chameleon twist 2 on the N64, but I have never played it), as long as it was on modern hardware and had a MAJOR overhaul.
