Craptastical!

User Rating: 3.2 | Catwoman XBOX
Graphics: This game is pretty when it comes to visuals, Catwoman's character model looks nice. The lighting is also pretty, which adds some nice shadowing to some of the backround. The backround itself isn't as pretty as everything, some of the parts look they were cut and pasted into eachother, not nice. Some of levels look good, eithers, no so much.

Gameplay: I liked some of the concepts put into this game. Catwoman is can do a variety of moves, which helps her during her missions, too bad they don't handle good at all. The controls are sloppy and most of the time, the action you want to be done, won't be, which makes the so-called fluency of Catwoman be thrown out the window.

Catwoman has a special power, called Cat Sense, which helps her pretty well infact; when you go into Cat Sense mode, or Hunting mode an "eye" appears and you have the ability to sense objects around the level that'll either help you, like poles, cat smell or prints, items that enemies can be thrown againsts or into. When the cat sense is fully upgraded you can see through walls to see where enemies are.

At the end of most levels you'll get your score and money, which will be represented as diamonds. With this money, you can buy moves for Catwoman.

As I mention above, you find cat scent and prints, which is Catwoman's pet cat. When you find the cat, it will provide you with nine lives, so say you fall off a HUGE part of the level and happen to die, the cat will come and revive your life up to eight times.

Sound: Wow, one word; BAD. Only worthy thing is this section of the review is Halle's voice, which seems like she was being lazy when doing the voice acting. The enemy voices are horrible, some of the ambiant sounds are also really bad.

Value: Not even worthy of a rental, if you didn't go see the movie in theaters and want to see it, rent the dvd, just stay away from this game.
