Starting this game I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Little did I know I was in for one of the best gaming experiences of my life.

Early in the game the story starts off a little slow but still sucks you right in to keep on going. The game always stays with a constant cycle of major story progression to puzzles then back to the story and back to puzzles, etc., etc.

In the puzzles, of course, there are storyline connections that might have you questioning, worrying, or just down-right confused. The difficulty does increase as you progress and the puzzles become more clompex and sometimes frustrating. I would find myself staring at my tv screen for 20 minutes at a time trying to figure out a part that had me confused.

Between the puzzles there were cutscenes and dialouge options. You could make Vincent a good or bad guy (I went with good) and talk to as many or as little people as you like. You can talk to everybody and get the full experience of the amazing story or just get back to the puzzles.

The story had an epic and pretty unexpected ending. A truly respectable story.

The only con I have with this game is the church bell that constantly rings when you near the end of a puzzle stage. This wouldn't be a problem but if you get stumped on a tough part near the end (which happened often to me) then the bell becomes a frustration while you're ripping your hair out hoping that one of the pieces of your scalp will contain the way to get past.

Overall, I have to say this is one of the best games I've ever played. It's not the puzzles that made me crazy for this game but the storyline. Definatly play this game.
