Destined for immortality...
The soundtrack is one of the best ever produced, particularly on a cartridge game. Classic horror stuff! The music sets the stage for every screen, and never becomes monotonous to the point it has to be turned down.
Graphics are pretty standard, for the NES, and the 80's, but enough detail is still shown to draw the player into the environment.
Jumping and "whipping" are the only moves that have to be mastered here. There is no outlandish array of items and weaponry to be picked up, just some upgrades to the primary weapon and a few projectiles.
This is a must have for any game player. Whether you like vampire hunting or not, once you've played it, you'll own it! * * * *
