die, vampire, die!

This game was the main reason for me to buy a gameboy advance. I wish I hadn't because a year later the much better version with backlight came out, along with a better castlevania, namely harmony of dissonance. To make matters worse circle of the moon was a very dark game, so i had to sit under a lamp to see what was happening on the screen. On the screen i saw a guy with a whip walking through a 2d castle, the guy was called Nathan. Now i had played 2d castlevanias before on the SNES, but this one was different. Nathan could find special items which enabled him to gain access to new areas, much like super metroid. I don't mind this gameplay, but i didn't like Nathan slow movement, the experience point system and the clumsy magic system. Once i had beaten the game i could play it again in different modes, making Nathan stronger. Now the game was more playable, but i think it's not one of the best Castlevanias.
