Castlevania was almost designed for a gameboy, and this game was almost the perfect castlevania

When i first got the game, I was so annoyed because all the other castlevanias had completely different gameplay features (and i had just finished symphony of the night a third time). I had only played the game about 5 minutes into it before I put it away for about 2 years. When I got it out the "bad memories" came back but i played through it.

After playing the game for about an hour I was realy starting to enjoy it. I still play the game to this date.

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon does take a while to get used to, don't expect it to be an easy switch from another. The use of the whip as the main weapon (and its two attacks) does seem limiting but useing the magic crads really opens up the game. The graphics are fairly good for a gameboy and thats all I can say about that.

The sounds are well done, but I've heard better from the gameboy.

It is well priced for a great game.

And I liked it very much.

Storyline is repetitive though (what can you expect from remakes).
