COTM is a must have game. Sadly these days, it takes a lot of effort to find a legal copy. Anyway, it will provide hours of enjoyment so the effort is well worth it.

Gameplay: spectacular. Ripping through minions and bosses with the whip, 100 magic effects, and 6 subweapons is pure joy. The boss fights are innovative and interesting, even today. I liked the combination platformer and rpg action.

Graphics: were pretty good back then, but have aged quite a bit. Don't let this turn you off though, and the screen is very dark. Use a back-lit GBA SP or DS.

Sound: meh. The sound effects and music annoy me so much that I play without sound.

Value: If you look at the number of hours I've played this game, you'll get an idea.

Closing Comments: Go to eBay and buy this right now! Go!
