Circle of the Moon is a good game, and its one of the better Castlevanias. However after having played Symphony of the night on Playstation the graphics and the sound feels dated. The gameplay isnt as good as SOTN either, the controls feels a bit more stuff and it feels a little bit more generic and straightforward. In SOTN there were tons of items to discover, but in this game theyve cut that down significantly and instead put effort into the card-system. It works pretty well and is pretty fun but personally i prefer tons of different items instead.
So, after seing how the game scored I was a bit disappointed. It is a good game but it should not have been rated over 8/10. And thats coming from a huge Castlevania-fan.
