Castlevania Circle of the Moon appears to be a good game of the Castlevania series.Well, it only appears to be.

User Rating: 5.1 | Akumajou Dracula: Circle of the Moon GBA
The Good:
-Good fight against bosses(nice difficult)

The Bad:
-No connection with Castlevania series(as you'll notice at 2 min. of game)
-Small variety of enemies
-Poor and dark graphics
-DSS Card System

Castlevania Circle of the Moon is sure a disappointing game.
To start, at the beginning of the game you will notice that you play as Nathan Graves, a vampire hunter that not belongs to the Belmont clan. And he even don't use the Vampire Killer, he uses only a magical whip.
The enemyes are very similar. You will find about 50 enemyes, but they are 15 with variations of power, colors and names.
Another point are the graphics.Certain GBA has a capacity to offer better and more "lighter" graphics(play this dark game on a GBA screen is a sacrifice).
But the worst part of all is the DSS Card System. It's consists on killing enemyes to they drop a card, having a Planet card and a Creature card, combining then to get new abilities. But you need a lot of luck(really a lot of luck) to they drop the card. And this is not the worst.See the section Hints and Cheats to "Use any DSS combo without getting the cards" to see how deep is the bad work done on the DSS Card System.

Well, at least the boss fights are good because they are a little hard.

So, if you have payed attention to this review and don't wanna spend you game time in vain, do yourself a favor and don't play this game.
