If you are looking for another World of warcraft, I would highly recommend taking a pass on this mediocre video-game.

User Rating: 5.5 | Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall PC
========================================================
PROS:

A fairly wide variety of weapons and accessaries to choose from.
Your able to see and interact with classic Cartoon network characters.
Plenty of fun missions to keep you occupied for hours.
A reasonably good attempt at showing young children what will happen if you don't keep the environment you live in alive and healthy.
========================================================
CONS:

A game has short lock-ups whenever you cross a bridge when you are entering a new area.
The game takes an eternity to load.
The animation style the Cartoon network characters are represented as doesn't stay true to that of their original shows.
Missions tend to be repeatitive.
Combat with your enemies can be frustrating due to the bad targeting system.
The game occasionally disconnects itself.
Has afew other minor bugs.

Gameplay: 5

There isn't really anything special about the gameplay here, and at times can proove to frustrating due to the games bad targeting system, you don't even have a crossfire when you have a ranged weapon equiped and when you are using a melee weapon, each hit you execute doesn't always cause your adversaries helath-meter to go down. The missions tend to be repeatitive yet fun to play, your missions normally resolve around around defeating a number of enemies or collecting/delivering a random item from one Cartoon network character to another. Although you do get a wide variety of weapons and accessaries to choose from. (Depending on what level you are.) When you defeat an enemy, you recieve fusion matter that slowly fills up your Fusion-meter at the top right-hand corner of your screen, once you have completely filled your Fusion-meter, you will have enter an infected zone and defeat a Fusion of a Cartoon network character, once this is done, you will recieve a nano of a Cartoon network character that you rarely have to use; and thus you continue the cycle over and over again, it gets pretty tedious after a little while.

Sound: 6

Sound is fairly decent and the sound effects you will here when you jump or hit an enemy sound (a bit) realistic but not by much. Unfortunately there aren't particularly that many music tracks, the music track is almost exactly the same in just about every area of the world you enter/exit.

Graphics: 6

Graphics are rather unspectactular for the year it was produced. The graphics are cell-shaded and are (occasionally) buggy which may make some Cartoon network fans want to look away at times. I am aware that a lot of games in the past and now, the characters mouth don't match the words they are saying, but in this game, the characters mouths don't move at all, although you will probably only here the characters randomly blurt out a catch phrase while your mission will be displayed in a speech bubble floating above the characters head.

Plot: 5

The plotline is fairly dull and isn't particularly very big or interesting in comparison to alot of games, the plot is practically based around the gameplay where you have to defeat fusions and get a nano that you will hardly ever use, you will also need to form a group to defeat the Fuse on planet fuse and restore peace to the Cartoon network Universe. I know that quite a bit of people may disagree with my statement, but I'm just expressing my opinion on this game and in my opinion, I think that the story of this game is fairly dull and not particularly very interesting.

Overall: 5.5

If you were expecting a spectacle-filled adventure and/or a MMO that is just as fun and exciting as other great online games, (E.g. World of Warcraft) you are without a doubt, setting yourself up for a huge mess of bugs and/or a towering disspointment. And right now you are probably thinking: "Oh my gosh, this game must really suck!" after spending the last couple of minutes reading my review explaining just about all of the games flaws and bugs, but don't get me wrong, Fusionfall is by no means a bad game, it's just suffers from a fair amount of bugs and faults which are pretty minor. All and all, the games worth playing, after about an hour of gameplay should give you just enough time to come to your conclusion as to whether this game is worth a subscription or not. Personally, I don't have a subscription to Fusionfall, me and my mum were actually planning on getting one so I could go to the past and so my two younger sisters wouldn't have to share the same character, but unfortunately a subscription to Fusionfall is only available in the United states and Canada and I live in the United Kingdom which is extremely irritating. If you are looking for another World of warcraft, I would highly recommend you take a pass with this thoroughly mediocre platformer/shooter-ish game; but if you are an eleven-year-old boy/girl who justs wants to interact and play with you favourite cartoon characters, this game is definite maybe, (for a subscription that is) depending on what country you live in.

Thank you for reading my honest review of: Cartoon Network Universe: Fusionfall.
