The one thing I like about the Nintendo Switch, is that it is giving some games a second chance at life and recognition. After the Wii U not doing as well as it could have, once I got the Nintendo Switch, I decided to give the Nintendo Switch version of this game a try, to see what it was all about! Let me tell you, this game REALLY puts back the challenge of the "Super Mario" games into video games! It is by FAR a lot harder, to beat all the bad guys of the Mushroom Kingdom, when you're weighed down by a heavy backpack and can't jump (but you DO need SOMETHING to store all the treasure you collect in this game, so I got to give them credit for that!) But this game, REALLY gives Toad (and Toadette) a chance to shine, in a way that they haven't been able to do before! Goombas, Shy Guys, Spikes, Charging Chucks, Boos, Piranha Plants, Hammer Bros., Fire Bros., Fuzzies, Magikoopas, and a brand new bad guy in Wingo (who seems to take some cues from Wart), are all conspiring to make sure that Toad doesn't get any treasure! That's not even taking into account, the natural hazards that any stage might possess! But in spite of all the difficulty, this game still manages to be very fun! Not to mention, the graphics are very BRILLIANT! It's absolutely amazing how far graphics have come since the 8-bit days. The music and sound effects are pretty good as well, and the controls handle really well! If you want to challenge yourself to a really good puzzle/platform game, this game is really worth checking out for your time! I did, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Toad and Toadette manage to take a stand, against some of the toughest stages that Nintendo has ever come up with! Enough said, true believers!
