It's all about the past for me. I love owning these old titles and love playing them when I get the chance. It's nice to be able to go home from the high tech world and go do ssome mindless gaming. The thing about these old arcade games is that you don't have to learn a tough control scheme or read this big long story. You just sit in front of it and have fun. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the new style games that are coming out now, but these are good for clearing the head or competing against your friends or kids.
The best in the pack for me is always going to be "Ghosts 'n Goblins". I think I had a job when I was 13 in order just to play this game at the mall. I will never forget the day they had to take it out of the arcade to get it repaired. Our hearts sank is the man rolled it on to the truck, only to never be seen again.
Now I can hold my head high, turn it on whenever I want and snicker to myself, screw you repairman.
