Call of Duty looks like a fantastic game... until you actually play it.

User Rating: 6.2 | Call of Duty NGE
Call of Duty for the N-gage is a total disaster. Technical issues ruin it from the get go.
Gameplay- Lets not try to ignore it. That fact is, the framerate is horrible. If it were slower it really would be unplayable. If this was a fixed issue, the game would have been a whole lot better. Low framerates in most games are not such a big deal to the point of ruining the game. Call of Duty is an exception. There are also a few other issues such as how the enemy a.i. is a perfect shooter, always hitting you even from far away. Right from the get go, you seem to die every so often, making you go through another long wait as the level loads up again. The good thing is that you can save your progress anywhere in the game, but since there is a fear of dying and having to wait 2 min for the game to load, you will find yourself pausing the game and saving just after each firefight with an enemy. There is also very few health packs even on the easiest difficulty, which doesn't seem right since you get shot quite a bit. Call of Duty isn't actually hard, it's just that there are very unfair issues that make the game frustrating.
Graphics- The graphics; however, are pretty nice. In fact, from what you see, it really looks like a very pixilated port of the original call of duty(which it is) for the pc. There are some issues, mainly with the draw distance of what you see. It is so incredibly short, that if you just decide to keep running forward, you will probably be gunned downed without even seeing the enemy that shot you. It also means that as you go in a certain direction, you will see enemies, buildings, and trees just pop out of nowhere.
Sound- The sound is where the game stands out. While the weapons and sound effects are a little dirty, the music really provides a sense of hope or tension depending on the situation. Too bad the rest of the game couldn't be this good.
Overall Call of Duty is a great looking game infected with many many issues that make it very frustrating to play. The framerate aand draw distance is what keeps this game from being good. If only the developers had fixed these issues. So all in all, Call of Duty is not recommended to most N-gagers.
