Despite its multiplayer exploits, MW2 hands down has the best multiplayer of all the CoD games in the series.

Modern Warfare 2, the 6th attachment in the infamous CoD franchise, is certainly one of the best in the series. The campaign, although rather short, was above par, eventhough it was also rather unrealistic at times (Jumping across a cliff on a snow mobile? C'mon IW!). However, the main feature that makes MW2 a true diamond, is it's multiplayer. The fast paced, action packed maps such as Favela and Rust, provide nonstop action, while larger maps such as Quarry and Derail, require a more strategical thought out plan. However, Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer has some severe problems. Exploits, such as OMA Noobtubes, could have been prevented had the game had a beta. But now, Noobtubes are common, and result in easy killstreaks. I can't remember the last match i had that didn't have noobtubes in it.
Despite it's woes, mulitplayer still proves to be one of the best in the franchise, and in my opinion, far superior to Call of Duty black ops, the next installation in the series.
