this game is going to suck with all that timer-based missions! its already hard enuff to control a chracter in a free roaming game, why add a timer to rush it?!
real gta come to DS
a free roaming game on ds????? it looks like san andreas 4 the psp
yah know that even if you watch the video with sound effects it's still probably not gonna be that great the graphics look amazing and driving and shotting look fun but much else the story has been done music in background is bad no replay value besides side missions you might have missed so probably a 7
Ya know, I heard only the "beep beep bloop" sound effects, and not much else. Was that supposed to happen? This game has so much going for it, yet so much against it.
This might actually turn out great
I don't know about you guys but I like watching videos with sound, come on GameSpot really?
hey, Gelugon_baat i have the same thing!
The cinimatic drawings look like the artstyle used in the Men In Black cartoon series. Just noticed that, but ot's probably just me...
I am having some odd complications with watching GameSpot videos. Some videos do not have any audio playing on my computer. Anyone having this problem? Anybody, back to the game at hand, the game does resemble the Grand Theft Auto IP more than a bit. I am hoping this game won't be a cheap knock-off.
quote: Posted Jun 15, 2009 10:37 pm GMT No It looks like "True Crime:Streets of LA" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But at the same time, better, with awesome graphics for ds. If this tops Chinatown Wars,(doubt it)it will be amazing. --- '' Da**it Kiff, where`s the little umbrella!?!'' Zap Brannigan, Futurama.
No It looks like "True Crime:Streets of LA"
looks like gta
looks great!
At 0:19 ( agh, I'm not on Youtube so that won't work. D: ) that bus looks alot like the bus in Driver Parallel Lines. I hope to god that this doesn't turn out to be the new Driver, or replace Driver. :o
this should of been chinatowns graphics ill buy it
looks pretty darn good for a DS sandbox title. But an it live up to Chinatown Wars in gameplay?
Awesome !
There's nothing wrong with the camera in Chinatown Wars. However, this is a blatant response to those who mocked the game for that very reason before it was released. Ubisoft will cash in on all those graphics whores and hopefully the gameplay in this game will suffer. If only because I hate graphic whores. If the gameplay turns out to be good though, i'll probably buy it myself lol.
At first I saw the trailer for Prototype and I was like "Is that on a DS???" But then the C.O.P. trailer showed and I lost all hope. D: Ah, well, both of those games look good anyways. =)
omg this looks amazing, will definately buy
Looks like a PS1 game on DS DS does have the power to do anything
this will be SO much better than Chinatown wars because of the camera angle, and why did Rock Star have to do bird's eye view?
Looks Good.........
And they couldn't make GTA like this WHY? Someone please explain why Ubisoft of all companies can manage to make a game like this for Nintendo but no one else can...especially why someone can't even make a game like this for the Wii? Surely something has got to be wrong with this game...
