Even after all these years, it is undoubtedly the best burnout game in the series, and most probably the best racing game ever. The masterpiece that is burnout is something that no other game has come close to. The immense single player campaign, with the outrageously fun team crash and multiplayer road rage events, this is a game that deserves its place in the hall of fame.
If EA just release this exact same game again, just with a Playstation 3 box, it would sell more than any racing game in this generation of gaming. For all of you who own burnout 3 takedown, go back to it, and just enjoy the sheer pleasure of burning rubber, grinding against rivals, and admiiring what was probably the most graphically challenging game on the ps2. If someone said that this was a ps3 title, not many people would raise their eyebrows.
Burnout 3 - My first ever ps2 game, and quite simply the best. Well done to criterion and ea games for producing such and amazing game that still leaves me loving it even after half a decade.
