A game that can put you on the edge of your seat (and try not to fall off)

User Rating: 9.5 | Burnout 3: Takedown (Dutch) PS2
The Burnout series started in 2001 and was created by Acclaim. It was a great game that become a racing favourite for some. About a year later Burnout 2: Point of Impact came out to great reviews and that's when everyone really started to take notice of the series.

Unfortunately Acclaim went bust and many though the Burnout series would be over - But that wasn't the case.

EA Games took over and released Burnout 3: Takedown in late 2004. Awesome reviews and it had a cult following from that day forward.

This is what I think of Burnout 3: Takedown

Gameplay - Absoultely stunning gameplay. Controls work perfectly and the challange of this game is going to be hard to match in the future. Crash mode is a neat feature and it could be a game in itself but the season mode just makes this game unbeatable in racing games.

Graphics - Again stunning. Seeing still pictures of this game doesn't really show you how good the graphics are. The graphics aren't exactly perfect but are the best I have seen in racing games.

Sound - Great sound affects. Some people complain about little things but nobody really gives a **** about that. The radio dj is also a bit of a wanker.

Value - A lengthy season mode and a fun crash mode make the value of this game very high.

Conclusion - A superb racing game. I am not the biggest of racing game fans but I love this game and it's the only racing game i really like.
