If you like Burnout, this is a great bargain bin game!
The graphics here are what you'd expect for a PS2 game, but it still looks great. The sense of speed is wonderful, and everything looks pretty clean without much jaggy edges or anything.
But what matters the most here is gameplay! This game is huge, with lots of cars ton unlock and lots of different racing styles to be had. From circuits with a couple of races, to fastest lap, first to the finish line, crashes, you name it this game has it! The best thing about this game is purely the amount of things you can do in it!
So, what are the downsides? Well, I really enjoyed Burnout 1 and 2 on the GC, they were great games. The move to the PS2 only was a good decision, and I like crashing during races for sure to help win the race, but the crashes themselves I feel are less epic than the older ones. The damage has increased so you can see your car getting messed up, but it doesn't feel as intense. The racing is way fun, but the crashing just seems a little different.
Nonetheless, this is a great game! You can find this game for cheap now, and anyone who wants a fun and fast paced racing game should definitely pick it up!
