Bully is a great game that has enough extras to keep you hooked for a long time.

User Rating: 9.6 | Bully PS2
In Bully you play as fifteen year old Jimmy Hopkins a kid who just can't seem to stay out of trouble. When the game begins your dropped off by your Mom and her new husband at Bullworth Academy also known as the worst school in the state. At Bullworth there is constant fighting between the schools cliques. There are Four main cliques you have to deal with: The Nerds, The Preppies, The Greasers, and The Jocks. Then there are the many outcasts such as Gary Smith who you soon befriend. After about the second chapter Gary disapeers but pops up here and there.

Bully is split into tons of smaller missions within five chapters. Each chapter focuses on Jimmy dealing with one of the cliques. The end of each chapter usually has some sort of boss fight with the leader of each clique. But none of the missions or boss fights are that hard and the whole game is about average length clocking in at about ten to twelve hours if you don't take the time to do a bunch of the side missions.

Bully's combat system works great you have tons of weapons that you can use such as: A Slingshot, Potatoe Cannon, Eggs, and many others. But most of the combat is done by hand with good old fashioned fist fights. But at times it feels like all you need to do to win is just mash on the punch button. But there are plenty of different attacks you can do to mix it up.

Another very nice thing about Bully is the way it makes it seem like your actually at school. You have two classes a day but these aren't required but they give you handy upgrades so its best to go to class. There are also prefects who will bust you when you are getting into trouble. You have a trouble meter by your health and when you commit crimes it goes up if you do a small crime it will go up a little. but if you do a really bad crime like punching a girl the prefects and cops pretty much go straight to you.

The story missions in Bully usually consist of doing stuff like getting a certain item. Or pulling a special prank or beating a group of people up. There are also plenty of extra things to do. Such as the 75 rubber bands scattered around the school and towns. Or the random errands you can do for people.

The graphics in Bully are outdated but still pretty good. The Bullworth campus is pretty detailed and looks great. But the character models look slightly weird. The sound is great the voice acting is awesome and all of the lines are funny. The soundtrack is good but gets annoying after a while. Bully is a great game while it lasts and has tons of extra features but is also rather easy.
