An amazingly addictive game that most certainly withstands the test of time.
Bubble Bobble is one of those games that every single gamer alive should play at least once. It is so highly addictive that back in 1989, at 4 years old I could not put the conrtoller down. I have since had my NES's sold, as well as Bubble Bobble, but this is DEFINITELY worth a purchase from ebay.
Basically the idea here is to get through 100 levels of cute animated chaos, all while eating as much as possible. You play as one of the cute dinosaurs and your only method of defense (and also heights scaling) is the bubbles that you emit from your mouth. You can trap enemies in these bubbles, then jump on them to make them fly off the screen.... of if you are lucky they will turn into a tasty treat.
This is one of those games that I recognize as an immediate classic, up in the ranks of Contra, Double Dragon, etc. Highly addicitive and highly fun.... also to everyone, good luck getting to level 100.
