Brute Force is a letdown.

Brute Force is a third person view squad based shooter. And it's ok but not that great, this game was pretty hyped and everything but they are alot better squad based shooters out there, like Freedom Fighter. I didn't really care for any of the main characters or the enemy. In fact I didn't really like just about anything this game. As for your teammates you never know what they are going to do and you never need to give them orders. The only nice thing is that you can switch to a different teammate. The enemys can be challanging at times and seem to have better AI then your teammates. Control is good, and being that the games controls are setup like Halo's playing the game for the first time was very easy. You can jump right in and play, that's very nice.
Graphics, the graphics are ok but just a little under par. The cutscenes are very well done, the characters look very good, but the levels are nothing great and enemys look ok. Sound, the sound is good, nothing really special I found about it.
The game is very lackluster and the levels are very boring. And with no live ability hurts this game. It does have system link but after playing the boring single player I wouldn't want to waste my time with multiplayer. I'm forcing myself to play to the next level to get my money's worth out this rental. And that is what this game is, is a rental. If you like it get it, but for me, I'm really glad I rented this first. I'll keep on playing Freedom Fighters and wait around for the sequal to it.
