Breath of Fire II

Great game, terrible translation.

Breath or Fire II expands on Capcom's BOF universe with some interesting and not so interesting ideas. Gone is the useful dragon abilities. Now you must use all of your MP to deal damage with this form. On the otherhand you can now add different characteristics to your people and even mix them like Karn from the first BOF. There is even a shout out to past BOF characters in this game which is nice. As the last BOF game on the SNES it graphicaly looks excellent and the blips are enough not to detract from the game. Except for the translation which borders on brain dead this game is very enjoyable. Just make sure to read a plot summary to catch everything.
