I don't normally play many platformers, but I knew I had to make an exception with Braid, and I'm glad I did. To first look at Braid you might think it's a Mario knock of with flashy graphics, but this is far from the truth. While it pay's great homage to Mario, Braid is extremely different then any other game I've ever played. It's use of time in puzzle solving can't even really be described in words. The main character has the ability to manipulate time in different ways through out the six worlds, and you use this in order to collect puzzle pieces that put together the story. The way Braid makes you think of the concept of time is mind blowing. Basically, the game play is top notch, and the graphics and sound track are 10 out of 10 for a 2D platformer, It's one of the prettiest games I've ever played. If you like puzzle solving, and your looking for a new gaming experience, you have to give Braid a try, you won't be disappointed.
