Wonderful art design and an absolute pleasure to find different weapons with to dismember your many opponents with.

I actually have this game for Mac and played it through from start to finish using the girl persona.
Entering the world of Pandora was an experience which is unforgettable. It still makes me smile 5 months after not playing it. So many fun, and funny moments that you find yourself in during your visit to Pandora.
You find yourself a vault hunter looking for a lost treasure which is protected by a vault that only opens once every 100 years or so. Pandora is a dusty place, kind of like the deserts in Nevada, red and rocky.
Along the way you make a point of slaughtering everything in your path. Every head shot is satisfactory, every time you bring down a big thug you pat yourself on the back. The only thing I found to be less then thrilling was the boss fights. I must have come in at too high a level, because they were too easy, (maybe I should've raised the difficulty at this point??).
Picking up different weapons to fit your profile is always a great pleasure. It's great to pick said weapon and look at its specs to see if it's the right fit for your character.
I also loved the character mods. Boosting your abilities that much farther to make your persona unstoppable. Woot!
You can also go off the beaten path to find yourself in harder areas (if you're feeling lucky) so you can level build.
I enjoyed the story, the plot twist, the crazy people you meet along the way, the crazy people you kill along the way... The atmosphere of the game, the 'badass' creatures, and the list goes on.
The multi-player was blast too, let's not forget!
I say all this to say that Borderlands part 2 will be just as fun, if not funner than this game. All the hype for this second game is for a good reason.
