The Best DLC Add-On For Borderlands, Surpasing The Other DLC's Released

User Rating: 8 | Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx X360
Following on from the end of Borderlands main plot, upon opening the Vault and defeating the creature that was released. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx acts like Broken Steel for Fallout 3, continuing the main plot onwards with weapons, kit, characters and a level cap increase. The Atlas Corporation is really fumming following the opening of the Vault by you, and so has deployed the Crimson Lance to the planet in large numbers to find you and bring you to them.

The Crimson Lance are led on Pandora by General Knoxx, a routinely comedic character who is both witty and funny.
The Crimson Lance are not on Pandora with a few toys, they've come with their entire brigades and regiments of Jetpack soldiers, fire soldiers, even mech units sent to come after you, and a very well done team of Crimson Lance female assassins who come at you at every possible chance.

This DLC adds also new side quests, missions, loot and equipment for you to fight for. The story involves going after Atlas's super secret, and rumored Armory belonging to General Knoxx and your quest to find it and its spoils.
New weapons are also around in this DLC, some very powerful ones and even Elemental ones.

The Good:

- New weapons and equipment specific to the DLC and expanded main game really gives you an upper hand in the game.
- New enemies move up the difficulty bar including Crimson Lance stormtroopers and Jetpack soldiers, giving you well earned XP.
- New areas and environments make the game feel totally fresh.

The Bad:

- Too short, lasting only 4 hours at a good pace if you do not do any additional side quests along the way.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is well worth the £10 or 800 Microsoft Points for it, or simply buying the Game of The Year edition with all DLC's included.
Graphically nothing is different, but its a DLC and not a brand new game but for fans of Borderlands its essential.
