Dig the cell shaded graphics, and the story!

At first I was skeptical. Cell shaded graphics are a novelty but are typically lower quality for next gen consoles. I thought they would get annoying or distracting like in XIII but they haven't. It's apparent that GearBox wasn't using the style as an excuse to avoid quality graphics.

Gameplay is addicting. I keep finding myself wanting to do one more menial task before I finish. It's definitely a Rle Playing Shooter. You'll spend a lot of time in your inventory and being picky about what guns to pick up. So far my choices haven't made any impact on the story. The RP side is pretty straight forward.

The story is interesting and the characters are colorful. The only downside is that after a few levels, many of the enemies are easy to beat. I've found that, after I die, I'm usually in a position to take out a main enemy from a distance. Not sure how the add-ons address that issue.

Ultimately, this i a good game that will allow you to get your money's worth in gameplay.
