One of the better games I've played in recent memory. I consider myself to be a hardcore gamer and finally a game that is meant for fun has caught my attention and kept me hooked thus far. I am primarily an FPS player because of the competition aspects, but Blur is too much fun to put down. When I get off work I come home and don't even look at my PC and think about loading up an FPS. Its straight to the 360 to run a Blur marathon.

The game is a great blend of other games; combining aspects of Mario Kart as well as NFS it finds a perfect balance of difficulty and fun factor. The power-ups are a blast to use but are not as game-breaking as they have been in previous games, if you're leading the race and play right you will not lose just due to overpowered power-ups. The defense shield is a great counter and there is some strategy involved in which power-ups you'll pick up as you can only carry a maximum of three at a time.

All-in-all this is a great game and I have been recommending it to anyone I know with a 360. It runs perfectly with great frame rates even with all of the mayhem going on around your car.
