Bloody Hell (UK-PAL localised)

User Rating: 5 | Bloody Roar PS

for me, personally, the PS1 probably has the most interesting library out of any console. anyway, let's play Bloody Roar, or as us Brits know it, Bloody Hell. developed by Hudson, who also went to make... Mario Party?

i select arcade mode, & i see i'm still being visited by groovy musick, because this character select musick, yeeeeeeeee. just look it up.

anyway, this is a pretty basic fighter for PS1 standards, you know, 2.5D, all that rock, no jazz here, except you can turn into anthropic, muscly, wild animals. the controls are simple, & good. but here's the catch. it's SO DAMN REPETITIVE. punch a few times, kick a few times, morph, repeat. but at least the sound of Yugo dying is godly. look it up. or just play the game. and i get to see a lion chew my face. and then i decide to be a lion & win. & then i wonder why i'm still playing. this game isn't good. & Mitsuko looks like a generic inhygenic lunch lady.

sorry that these recent articles have been short, but i'm not going to turn to padding out.
