Huh, for a game in Malaysia offered as free pakage, its actually ok, control take some time to get used, story is a trash but the design and art direction is at its direction, and overall if you got spare time to kill with, its actually ok for a free XBLA game though, don't know why but there it is..... :/ to much hate on the reviewer....... please be more specific.

Carolyn Petit, Best Reviews on the Site! And, I love seeing a low-score review. It's like reality TV, so much more entertaining when things go horribly wrong! XD There's nothing original about this game, right down to ripping off Robert E. Howard on a variety of levels.
just a failed attempt to bring god of war to the xbox. hopefully they get it right next time, but i dont really care honestly cause ive got god of war for my ps3 when i need it.
@megakick im down with what he said demonforge was freacking horribad both graphically and gameplay wise that easily take out 2/3 of a game. think the score should be swap between bloodforge and demon forge.
Looks like a rushed out game, but they were not joking with the quantity of blood. :cool:
@Bozanimal oh, oops my bad :) Though I still like her reviews, i think they give all the facts you need in a way that makes it clear whether or not you want the game and why you do or dont :)
@penpusher - I didn't say controversial, I said conversational. You know, like two folks having a chat. -> :o :) I stand by my comment, though. @carolynmichelle is entertaining to listen to in unscripted videos (not least of which because we share a lot of the same taste in games), and my suggestion is just that she bring the same passion to her video reviews as she does in other media; just my opinion.
A repetitive hack and slash game? Well I never. (in before the next God of War or Devil May Cry game gets an 8 or higher)
That jerky camera is enough to make one vomit. I agree with this review. It looks like they did put some thought and work into the character models however, the environments literally look unfinished in comparison. And again, that camera is pure "jank", if I am even using that term correctly. Lol EPIC FAIL.
@Bozanimal I dont see anything wooden about her review, shes giving us the facts in a well written review, I'd rather have emphasis on the game itself than an emphasis on fancy review style. Besides I'd hardly call the review you pointed out "controversial". So he said the F word,,,wow
@megakick she's rating it as a game in it's own right dude, try playing the demo and you'll see instantly how bad the game is. Level design sucks, the battles are tedious and frankly it's just boring. Even the game demo can tell you that. Though if you think shes so bias then go and buy the game, she warned you, it's your money you'll be wasting ;-)
is the game really that bad to merit a 3.0 on gamespot? c'mon. it can not be that bad. ill get the demo anyway.
Carolyn reviews and scores are very biased. Reviewers should reveiw games they enjoy look at the review history. Hunted: Demon's Forge was $59.99 and is garbage but that got a higher score 5.0 God of War is a AAA Sony Exclusive and if Blood was at that level Sony is robbing people. Bloodforge is a 1200 point Xbox Live Arcade Hack n' Slash game. My question is what game was Bloodforge rated against?
Most of Carolyn's assessment seems accurate, but i disagree with the environments looking bland and stale. It seemed to me that the artistic direction of the game was its strongest feature. A shame that such a stylized world and characters were misused in a failed attempt to copy God of War.

The entire game is like a bad photoshop effect given that stupid, stupid persistent spotlight effect. Ugh: It burns my eyes-es! It burnssss! Turns it off! Turns it off! One thing I might suggest, Carolyn, is that I love your reviews. You've always got excellent content and your script is well-written, but your delivery still reminds me of when Jody first started filming SYNC: A bit wooden. You obviously despised this game, so go ahead and let me know it! Don't read it to me like it's a Powerpoint at a seminar, talk to me like you're sitting next to me having a beer (minus the belching). If you feel a game is good or bad, telegraph it to me in tone and delivery as much as content, and it'll make the reviews that much more entertaining to watch. Check out Gerstmann's swan song; he did a good job of being conversational while explaining the game and delivering his message. I hope this is helpful, or not, take it for what you will! :D

I got motion sickness from this video. Seriously, what the hell were the developers thinking? Did they make this game at sea?
Oh man watching that herky jerky camera made me a little motion sick. I actually had to stop watching it less than two minutes in. Anyone remember that Xbox first gen mech game Valkyrie? Oddly reminds me of the sluggish controls/camera there.
