Blizzard DOTA - BlizzCon 2011 Preview Trailer

I used to love Blizzard, but after the new releases like Cataclysm and now this one, i start to hate it.

I hate to say something negative, but speaking as someone who has purchased every Blizzard title except for Catacylsm, I think I'm done with Blizzard games permanently. The company used to be great, but it has really turned into an arrogant, overgrown turd and a bloodsucker bent on addicting gamers into throwing more and more cash into their money-pit, Skinner box games. I'll stick with Valve's DOTA 2 and/or League of Legends. I just can't waste my money supporting Blizzard's anti-gamer practices anymore. Sorry if this comment offends anyone.

YES ! I love the fact that they actually make MOBA a competitive genre releasing more and more titles! Still League of Legends for evah! :P

Meh. I'll also give this a go, but I'm not seeing it... Most of these rips lose they're DOTAish feel, just like dota2 lost it's good old feel.

Don't get me wrong, i'll try this. But i'm in the DOTA 2 beta and it's amazing :P Serriously addictive.

BLIZard give up VALVE has a better product with DOTA 2!

looks lame compared to dota2, thanks valve for taking this over. Valve just did this cus all their people are addicted to dota. They put some love into dota2 everyone needs to get on that.

Oh god. This is the answer from Blizzard to Valve's Upcoming DotA 2? They really are pis*ed off about losing the great goldmine called DotA huh? Well guys Icefrog is with Valve now so no whining. Blizzard should have noticed DotA earlier when it was still in it's infant state. But noooo, biiig blizzard knows everything. So what did we get? Valve acquiring rights for DotA from Icefrog and Icing our chilly Blizzard. Oh and blizzard is going tooo Corporate with his prices on games. I mean Starcraft 1 for 15 $ ? I know it's great but it's still old. And what's with Starcraft 2 for 60 friggin' $??? With all this gaming boom going on in the world Blizzard will not last much longer if they don't change their way to NOT BEING CORPORATE about every friggin' title. With that much said, I only want to say that I love Blizzard and all the great games they made starting from warcraft 1. But they need to change, to adapt and be more creative.

Why make a game like this??? Just release Diablo 3 already!!! People are getting frustrated and bored.So this is where my WoW subscription money was being spent??? This and freaking PANDAS!!!! We will see how productive you'll get when people stop giving you there money.....

@wexorian It will be included for free in Heart of the Swarm (or at least that was the plan at one point). Though it will be in Starcraft, it will have its own ladder and matchmaking like a standalone game that you get for free with Heart of the Swarm =D

if it will be f2p then maybe i'l switch from lol to blizzard dota, but it must not be DOTA COPY :D

Make a Blizzard DOTA with every hero and bad guy(whatever you want to call it) and make a lot of maps etc. and trust me it will be better than this current Blizzard DOTA.

Looks nice but it better has many more heroes and not just ten or something.

If I'm going to judge this game by Blizzard's Reputation, they are actually good (or a little obsessed) about ladder, ranking and stuff's so YEAH, I'll give it a spin. But I totally think that this is inferior to Valve's since the guys who actually made this game works there.

Yeah, after they make persistent online connection DRM, an auction house, and explicitly ban modding Diablo 3, they still think players are going to buy their version of DotA over Valve's???

I am most excited see the fallout from the great Combat between DOTA 2, Blizzard DOTA, LoL, and whatever other DOTA-type games that will emerge in the near future. Wow, these games feel like they are in an arena match of their own. Anyway, you go, Blizzard DOTA!

Blizzard were fools for not grabbing the DotA franchise sooner when they had the chance. They could've done what Valve did with Counter-Strike - support and officialize the modders for an extremely popular mod of their game and capitalize on it. Instead, they had to wait until LoL and HoN to come out... and Valve taking the franchise while they were asleep. Now they look like a bunch of biters trying to? ride on the money train and diluting the fanbase between these four games. Hell, even this trailer looks like an April Fools joke... GG Blizzard

Meeeeeh. The siege tanks hero looks interesting. And playing as Zeratul in a DotA type of game would be interesting...but it's got nothing on DotA 2, or even the original DotA for that matter.

Oh nice, looks like this game is using starcraft 2's game engine. The characters involved are great much more enticing then the other dota type games.
