This game is just an amazing way for Midway to show the world that it is possible to create a fantastic sports game without a license. The graphics in this game are great, and they may not be perfect, but I didn't find a lot of time to complain with the speed at which the games actually go. The controls are extremely easy to get into, so that pick-up games with friends will always be fun. I thought that the bone-crushing sound was actually a little sickening at times, and the music fits in pretty well with the tone. The voice acting wasn't that great, but it's a football game, and it did at least have voice acting. I loved playing this game, and the first time you break someone else's bones is really a crazy experience.
The fast-paced action is really addictiong, and is really something that can be recommended to casual and hardcore sports fans alike.
