Eh... I'll take it

Picked this up for 25 cents. Popped it in my PS2 first. initially I enjoyed my first quick-play game. Then i looked through the menu and realized there is barely anything to this game. Its a fun game to play with a friend every once in a while, but besides that it isn't very good.

Blast Lacrosse has 2 modes: quick play and season. Quick play is what you'd expect-a quick game. The season is just a string of games in a row. Not much depth. You have 8 teams to choose from. They are actually from Major League Lacrosse with actual rosters from the year the game was made. This is an interesting feature, but since I've never heard of these guys, not really all that cool to me.

The sound is fairly decent, but again theres not much to it. Its crisp, but all you get is an odd announcer, crashing sounds, and menu music. Noticing a theme? Fortunately, this theme continues with the graphics. While they aren't especially good, they do enough to distinguish between each player and show where the ball is. Framerate is decent, and the animations do what they need to do. Again, bear minimum done, but that's all that's needed.

Overall, this game just passes for me. Theres not much to it, but it works and can be fun. In the end, isn't that all we need?
