Its an instant classic. There is simply no hockey game that matches its greatness on the ice. It is remarkable plain and simple. The graphics are the greatest you will ever see on NES. The fights are so realistic, you feel like you are out on that ice, beating the crap out of the guy. The minute i started playing i just couldn't stop it was like an addictive drug that just eats at you. Once you start you can not stop it works like that. I mean i lost my wife playing this game but it was totally worth it. I would definitely do it again.
