Blackthorne is one fine game to play, I still remember when I first saw this game on my friend's computer and I fell in love with it at first site. At first it looks similar to Prince of Persia only instead of a sword you have guns and bombs. Well its not like that at all, Blackthorne is in my opinion the one who started all the multi-action games that followed, the creators thought of everything from dodging bullets shooting backwards along with crafty yet easy puzzles. The music is great along with the sound effects, very nice midi tunes that really go along with the middle-earth theme. The game starts with a great opening scenes that tells the story of a young boy who is a prince of some kingdom in an alternative dimension. In order to save him from the demons attack his father has sent him to our dimension. Years later the boy grows and he finds himself determined to go back to his dimension to save his kingdom and claims his throne once again. Thats the basic story of the game as you wonder around from level to level trying to reach the castle and kill the demons master and restore peace to the world. A very fine game that I recommend for every one to play as it is enjoyable like hell.
