Props to the dudes over at zombie studios for putting together a FPS that truly delivers in both style and gameplay. I followed some of the gameplay videos of the beta before the release of the game, to me it seemed worth a play. The F2P aspect of the game, in no way ruins the experience. Sure you can drop a little money on the game and end up with a few fancy upgrades, (which there are TONS of) but you can still wreck house with having access to just the basic setup of gear and weapons. I've found in order to unlock a lot of the upgrades, mods, and weapons, you do have to put in a decent amount of gameplay to build up that currency. However, they do give you the option to "rent" mods for 1 day or 7 days at a time, in which you save a substantial amount of your currency.
The addition of "During Match" purchases like health replenishment, ammo replenishment, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, or even the powerful mech suit, make the online matches even more exciting. If you're looking for a refreshing new shooter, this game is free, so why not give it a go??
