Somewhat overhyped, I think. Good, but not great.

It's probably just me, but I played this game for about 6 hours yesterday, and have to say I am not too impressed. Some good ideas, obviously nice and very weird environment, which is refreshing in the seemingly never ending supply of CoDs, Battlefields and MoHs, which all look the same. But at close look, the action gets repetitive, missions are almost always the same (go here, go there and that's it), combat is pretty straightforward and relatively easy and have another look at the "amazing" graphics: Pretty cartoon-ish and quite ugly from close up, choppy and unconvincing character animations. So, a decent game, with nice effort to bring something new, few nice details, but overall, not worth the 90+ rating it's getting, I have to think. In the world of FPS, I think Far Cry 3 got it just right and that's about it.
