Improved gameplay and much dignified storyline didn't suffice the need to make it as immersive as its predecessors.

Building on its predecessors underwater concept, bioshock's sequel is now out with the entry of little sisters, big sisters and class of the protagonist, big daddies. Remarkable depiction of aquatic world of rapture and depth of father-daughter relation is well presented in bioshock 2. The sequel has made further improvements in the field of effects, gamplay and storyline which is now to the point and on the right track. Choices are also available to you to choose from multiple endings.

You play as Delta struggling and facing Sofia Lamb to get Eleanor, your daughter from your previous birth and daughter of Sofia in the current birth, at your side. You can play as a kind character rescuing the little sisters in rapture and forgiving people or as evil character harvesting everyone for your personal benefits. The decisions are the basis of your endings. This sets you free to lead your own way and adds to the strength of the game.

Combat is quite a fun as you can use plasmids and weapons at one go. From drills, machine guns to electric balls and fire balls, you are introduced to a wider arsenal as you progress through the game. Upgrades, gene slots, hack darts etc. are now all ready at vending machines to be purchased. Gameplay of Bioshock 2 is improved and enjoyable.

Presentations of underwater world is superb and so are the sound effects to give oomph to your exploration and combat, though graphics couldn't elevate up to the mark.

Though rapture is now not a hair-raising adventure and not as connective as before but better gameplay, complexities of relations offers you a entertaining ride.
