I've been waiting for a couple of years now and it's great; not awesome but it's definately above average. I loved everything about this game except 1 thing. and that was the restrictions; when i first heard about this game i really thought it'd be an open world game but i guess the developers wanted to stick with a platformer level design to stay true to it's roots. But when you're trying to find all the collectables it can result in some cheap deaths. But the other problems people are complaining about (i.e. weak gunplay, in game advertising, weak story etc) didn't bother me at all. Ok the pistol is weak agreed, but once you get the other guns it's ass kickin time! Also the story isn't that great but really though, the other bionic commando stories didn't take themselves seriously either.

The multiplayer is amazing, it especially adds some flavor to the capture the flag mode which makes it a lot more fun and exciting when you can swing to your destination in a matter of seconds rather than being a...trotting duck. If you've played the demo you either loved it or hated it. Personally i loved it and kept replaying the demo over and over till it was released. But i can see why some people might dismiss it. The map they decided to use was pretty bland and i know some people got frustrated with the swing mechanics but trust me give it some time and once you mastered it its a blast. the full game has a lot of great maps and killing eachother while swinging is both challenging and satisfying. Also the framerate is very smooth, something that would absolutely murder this game if not how it is. I really wanted to give this game a 9 or 9.5 but those restrictions really bugged me...not even all of them(cuz you can pull yourself out of the water if theres something to grab onto) just that damn radiation!
