Play it once..play it twice...then smash it with a hammer.

Boy, talk about slapping a piece of garbage with a popular movie title. This game has got to be one of the worst games I have ever played, it's nearly impossible because there are spots in which you DO have to die. That is because there are times you have to drop down to a lower platform but the camera won't go down with you as you drop down, so instead of landing on the platform below you just fall to your death and die. I can guarantee, you will see the continue screen more than once in less than 5-6 minutes.

The graphics also aren't TOO bad, not for it's time anyways, I can kinda make out that this is in fact a Beetlejuice game. It seems to be based off of both the movie as well as the old cartoon as both things are featured in this game.

My other complaint about this game is the power ups are pretty useless, as there are tons of enemies in this game that cannot be killed. Making it even more frustrating than it already is, I remember one spot in a level there is a VERY tiny platform that you have to jump up onto but it's impossible to do that without taking damage as the enemy scrolls back and fourth endlessly on the tiny platform, and by tiny I mean like the size of the top of a Mario pipe. This enemy cannot be killed either.

The music gets a tad repetitive as well. I liked some of the songs at first but like most LJN games they get annoying pretty fast.

I got tired of dieing and I brought out the ol' Game Genie cheat device so that I could finally beat this game, after dieing about 1,000+ times I saw the ending and boy was it ever disappointing.

-SPOILERS-

Beetlejuice comes out onto a stage, has a 3-5 frame animation of himself "dancing" then he says something about how he doesn't do two shows a night then the game resets.

-END OF SPOILERS-

Yep, that's it.

Avoid this game at ALL costs.
