I a fan of the movie, and was happy when I picked up this game. It's platforming with a prerequisite for some quick reflexes. Lots of bad guys,(including the dreaded sand-worms), and large variety in your spooky arsenal to use against them. Unfortunately, this is also where the game slows down. You have to crush bugs to earn currency for these weapons. To arm yourself well, this takes a long time. Lots of repetative, time consuming stomping. This just makes the whole experience seem tedious.
But once you are armed to the yellow teeth, you're ready for some fun, with a couple rather challeging levels as you progess. Particularily the top down view levels, which give you a change from the side view action.
