I still can't play any BF more than I did with BF2:MC (BC1 and 1943 come close).

MW3 advert at the beginning of this movie. Just thought that was funny.

I have played the BF series since 1942 came out and was extremely active in the Desert Combat community. I went into this video thinking, "meh no way gamespot gets the history correct." I was pleasantly surprised. Well done sir. The Desert Combat mention nearly brought tears to my eyes.

I agree with Wesley705. They should have really dropped the price on the Vietnam pack like $5 or $10. Better yet, free!

Game rocks baby. Can't wait 2 more days. And COD needs to work on its graphics and gameplay if it wants a chance to win. Can't keep releasing same doodoo graphics and gameplay every year and expect us to pay up. Need something graphically amazing like battlefield yeahhhhhhhhhhhh can't wait :)

@GravyCrazy I still play BF2 occationally however not vietnam anymore. Never was much into bf:bc1 or 2.

Gawd this brings back memories. The first 2 battlefield games were so much fun. Do people still play them? Almost no one plays Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam from what I've seen. 1 vs 3 isn't what I'd call death match, more like execution.

I dont care about reviews!I know im going to like it and will play the s*** out of it. The only thing I really care about is a good community cause the long it last the longer the support.

COD:MW3 is gonna be 10/10 cause thats just how COD games go but the BF sires is meant for multiplayer(regaurdless of what DICE or EA wants) so BF:3 is gonna be a 10/10. Both games are gonna be awesome. I see no point in arguing about which one is better. Any true FPS gamer should be buying both of these titles anyways. I've pre-ordered BF:3 and I will be buying COD:MW3 when thats comes out too.

Battlefield 3 10/10? Talk about over hyping a game. DICE gets more praise than they deserve.

How did IGN not give it a flawless score for graphics, i have no idea, it seems to be as close to photo realism as possible so far. Still it got a 9 and Gamespy gave it a full 5/5 so it seems to be living up to the hype.

@nyran125 there have been six disc based Battlefield games, 1 DLG, and a browser based game, and a few mods for Battlefield. Call of Duty on the other hand has had eight main disc based games, a psp, game, two spin off disc based games games for call of duty 2 and world at war, in addition to call of duty classic as a DLG.... both games have had a plethora of expansion packs....so Call of Duty has more releases either way they both have quite a bit...

hands down 9,5. this is the game that will destroy call of duty. the war (bf3 vs mw3) was won before it began. battlefield 3 = win.

I hope all you battlefield fanboys are watching this and seeing that Battlefield has released JUST as many BF games per year as Call Of Duty if not MORE. So stop saying that DICE only erleases a Battlefield game every 4 years or so, because thats garbage. If you were to say Half life is released every 4 - 8 years youd be telling the truth. But theres been a Battlefield game every year since BF1942.

BF1942 and BFvietnam is still by FAR the best of DICE's achievements. BF3 just has pretty graphics.

10!!!!/10!!!! ok probaly not cause it will be buggy for sure, so 8.5/10 nah 7/10 so that im pleasantly surprised by how 10/10 the game is, so yer my score is 7/10, can i score the next DLC? the expansion BF3 Desert Storm, and BF3 Vietnam, the first is a single player/co-op DLC pack that adds more in every way and adds the weapons into mutiplayer, the last is single and muti player and co-op, where you get ambused my AI vietcong in single player and co-op and try to survie and multiplayer will be well BF multiplayer in vietnam with the weapons and stuff (sorry for bad selling abd grammar) and they will both be 9.5/10.

i was half hoping there would be a MW3 trailer cause there was a BF3 trailer on the MW3 trailer, it would have been funny, cause both awsem games..but yer read under neither to see what i thing

@jewdragon19 3 months is a long time, and try to play it tacticaly with mates, its makes it soo much more fun than on your own, which is how CoD can be played and you still have fun on it, well some times, but now its using dedicated servers, anyways thats another story, in my opinoinin, CoD is for singleplayer (this is all based on current games) and BF is for mutiplayer, thats how i play them, but it looks like they both have awsem co-op and ive played them in beta at Eurogamer Expo 2011 (in the UK). and they are both awsem.

@jewdragon19 MoH used the frostbyte 1.5, like BFBC2, i liked the game, it wasnt the best DICE have made, in fact it was the worst, but still fun with mates. BF3 is using frostbyte 2, and BFBC1 (which was console only) used the first version

Nice They showed Battlefield 1942 : Desert combat :D Great mod before Bf2 came out. 2142's titan mode should be remade on a frostbite 2 or 2.1 Imagine a giant Titan ship Going down on a massive city O.O that would be epic :D

they scrapped the command system. sadness.
