I am a big fan of Battlefield and of First Person Shooters for that matter.

Do not belive Gamespot, they give the worse reviews I have ever seen, sometimes it seems like they try to make up the bad things in a game just to put in "the bad section".

If you're a fan of the Battlefield series, BF3 will definitly be one of your favorites. Don't listen to the haters.
Campaign is not the best, it's true, the start is kind of boring and slow, you'll need some time, but belive me, when you progress trough the game, you'll reach some of the most exciting levels and scenarios you can only imagine!

Variety of weapons, dialogue and just plain adernalin and realism flow in this game.
I have seen reviews which game less than an 8.5 to this game and please...that is just pure hating from people who don't know how to review a game properly.

Battlefield 3 is filled with content and excitement that can last for a long time.

But the Multiplayer is really the jewel of this game and what makes it shine.
You'll probably get killed a couple of times the first times you'll log in and play, or crash and burn the helicopters or trash a jet or even right in the second before you enter a jeep or a land vehicle you'll get killed or blow up.
But it's all worth it! And why?

Because Battlefield 3 gives and delivers the multiplayer experience that no First Person Shooter has ever given before, not even the Call of Duty series (and belive me, great game too)

So what's the big difference in the big picture?

It's not fanboy VS fanboys, let's be realistic and serious for a moment. Battlefield has a bigger history than Call of Duty and always had that unique style of gameplay, with vehicles and all the other stuff you know and your experience will increase by gameplay and by how much you know the game.
Call of Duty delivered a different experience, one where you can get perks and with those perks you become better (like an RPG if you will) of course you need practice, like in all other games, but in CoD you knife someone from 20 feet away...

In the end, it's all a choice based on your preference between realism VS trend

Battlefield promisses and delivers, the game's based on realism and you'll get it! You won't be dissapointed.
People only focus on campaign because either they have not finished it (they would change their minds belive me) or are just plain stupid and haters...or are fanboys coming from other games.

Is the game overhyped?
Definitly, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing!
Is it worth the price?
Definitly, but what game doesnt if you like it?
Does it deliver what you're hoping for?
Definitly, but be patient and don't hate at start
Will it be a success?
Definitly, but It already is

Long story short:

Battlefield 3 is a must own for fans, either Battlefield fans, FPS fans or even gamers.
Do not belive the haters and definitly do not belive Gamespot on some stuff. (Between you and me, IGN is better at reviewing games)
