A great,solid FPS for the PS2

Gameplay 8/10 - Battlefield 2:Modern Combat for the Playstation 2 is a very enjoyable FPS.Campaign mode is fairly lengthy with many different types of missons.Some of these missions can be very difficult and can take quite a few tries until you can beat them though.Online is also very good,yet many say it is too easy.There are many weapons and vehicles and all the weapons work well and are fun to use,but one problem with this game is that the vehicles don't control well,which can be a real pain especially in missions where you need to use vehicles.Another problem is in campaign mode players spawn over you sometimes.A great feature is hot-swapping where you can swap to another soldier on your team,which can be very helpful and is very fun to use.

Graphics 8/10 - The graphics are disappointing compared to the PC version of the game,but the game still looks good.All vehicles,environments and soldiers look fine with not any problems.

Sound 8/10 - The sounds in this game don't compare well up to the PC Battlefield games,but still sound pretty good for a PS2 FPS.All the vehicles and weapons sound good IMO.Voice acting is done well and I thought the music was great.

Value 9/10 - This is definitely a great FPS to pick up if you have online,and a good rental or 2 if you don't.This is one of the better FPSs I have played on the PS2,online and campaign mode,and should be checked out by all FPS lovers and people who somewhat like FPSs.

Tilt 10/10 - I really enjoyed this game,and as I said above,is one of the better FPSs on the PS2,online and campaign,and with a T ESRB rating, should be checked out by everyone.
