One of the best movie games I've played

While Batman Returns isn't exactly a game would want to play for hours at a time, it's fun to play and unwind from a hard day at work, school, or real life in general.

It's a standard beat-em-up and it's not particularly innovative but the controls are decent and it's pretty satisfying to see your enemies fall to the ground after beating the living crap out of them. You can also kill several on the screen at once with test tubes which work like bombs. There are a few other fighting techniques but I won't list them here.

The levels are fairly varied. Many of them are just going forward from one screen to the next and you advance by killing several waves of enemies. Some levels however go up instead of just forwards. They don't all look and play the exact same way.

There are several difficulties to the game so you don't have to worry about the game being too easy or too hard.

The music and sound are awesome. There are several tracks that are from the movie itself.

Overall, this game is worth checking out if you are Batman fan or simply enjoy playing beat-'em-ups.
