All that I expected it to be and more.

I had never played Arkham Asylum, not most of it anyway. I played it on my friend's PC. I got lost in the hype like a lot of people do. I didn't know what to expect from a Batman game, but I came away stunned.

From the moment I got to walk around in this city I couldn't stop playing. The Environment is dark and gritty, everything from the water on the ground to the snow falling on Batman's suit. There is a lot to do here, like collecting Riddler trophies or stopping a crime and a ton of side quests.

Another thing I noticed is how good they got the controls down, it plays a lot like Red dead or Grand theft auto but it's a lot more responsive. It's easy to switch from one thing to the next, or grappling to a building.

The Voice acting is top notch in this game, I've got to say I didn't know how well Mark Hamill was going to do in this game, but he absolutely nailed it. And I'm glad they didn't use that annoying voice that Christian Bale used in the movies for Batman.

The Story is also very good and dramatic, and I didn't expect that from a game, but the script writer did an excellent job with fitting the characters in where they needed to be. And the ending ends this game on a very good note. Won't go into detail on the story.

I don't review often, but this is game is just too good. And it's game of the year so far for me. And I don't think anything is going to change that. Believe the hype, this game is that good and if your a comic book fan all the better for you.
