Banjo Tooie is one of- if not THE- best 3-D platformer of all time.

Eight years have passed since the realease of this game, and it's starting to be apparent that Banjo-Tooie is quite simply a timeless game. Though it follows in the footsteps of Mario 64, a game that revolutionized the 3-D platformer genre, it improves upon it on every level, and though it's not revolutionary, it's a game that must be played by all.

In fact this is the only 3-D platformer that can hold a candle to the masterpiece Super Mario Galaxy, which is saying a lot. If you have any brains about you you will go to e-bay right now and buy this game for whatever it's selling for.

The game is actually quite challenging. It's not the type of game you can fly through in a day or two. Nor will you want to- it's the kind of game that makes you want to explore every nook and cranny of each of the mind-blowingly awsome levels. All of the levels are gigantic, and each has a killer soundtrack. More importantly it's the kind of game that keeps you coming back for nearly a decade, and the kind of game that makes you want to buy an xbox 360 just to play the soon to be released sequel. Buy this game. You won't regret it.
