You'll still get ripped off if you paid $5 for this game brand new

User Rating: 1.8 | Bad Boys II PS2
First off, I bought this game brand new at Best Buy (day after Thanks Giving) for $5 Anyways, on with the review The gameplay of this game is too simplified for even the worst of gamers. You can auto-aim, and still kill people in 1 - 3 shots. If you don't auto-aim, you can easily make a headshot since the hit boxes are so incredibly huge. You can shoot in the air, next to their heads and they still die. You can go up against a wall/car/large object for protection while shooting a mob, but they even simplified that. You can only stand next to certain areas marked with a circle just to make it that much easier for you and give you less control. You have infinite ammo for the hand gun, which is the only gun you really need at all since you can kill people with 3 shots max using it. And to try to make the game more interesting, they give you a perfect cop/bad boy meter just so you can be good/evil. For one thing, it doesn't alter the game at all if you become a perfect cop or bad boy. Secondly, it's near impossible to be a bad boy. Even if you kill everyone, find no evidence, and take your time to destroy everything in your site, it's still near impossible to reach "bad boy" status. The graphics are truly horrible. I can compare the graphics of Syphon Filter 3 for ps1 to this game, and still give Syphone Filter 3 a better rating in graphics. Yes, a ps1 game that came out in 2001 has better graphics then a ps2 game that came out in 2004. The cg scenes of Bad Boy are hardly better then the in game graphics, which are horrible. The models are so basic, you can't tell which one is supposed to be Will Smith or Martin Lawerence because they both are the same height, same build, even the same face. The voice acting of this game is horrible. For one thing, they didn't use Will Smith or Martin Lawerence. Secondly, I doubt if they are even black. The voice for Martin Lawerence sounds like a sterotypical cowboy/trucker type voice. And the voice for Will Smith is just a high-pitched goofy voice. There is constant talking through out the entire game, and their attempt to be funny is not only pathetic, but sometime gives me a chuckle from how sad it is. There is pretty much no replay value in this game at all. Even if you had no other game to play, you'll just find yourself putting the controller down because it's not even worth your effort to play this game. If you are a Bad Boys fan, do not play this game. It might make you stop being a Bad Boys fan. If you truly want to play this game, rent it, but I'm pretty sure you'll want your money back.
