Episode 3 offers an Orwellian take on Hill Valley.

User Rating: 9 | Back to the Future: The Game - Episode III: Citizen Brown PC
Citizen Brown is the third episode in the episodic series , and came out on March 28.

Quality wise it's the same as the previous episodes. The animations seemed improved this time though, it shows that they worked on them. The puzzles are not that easy, but still pretty easy. The goal of the game is to tell the story, to take you along for a nostalgic ride, and not be thought provoking with elaborate puzzles. It's the same length as the previous episodes, about 3-4 hours.

This time the game takes you in an alternate reality, where HIll Valley is this Orwellian society where everyone is controlled and watched. This is a direct consequence to Marty tampering with the past, so he has to find Doc and fix his mistakes. But Doc has changed as well, along with everyone. A new character makes an appearance which is Marty's girlfriend Jennifer, alternate reality Jenifer that is. They got the same actress from the movie to do the voice, so that's a plus.

I liked Episode 2 the most, but this episode is not bad either. It's the most serious episode, with political and moral questions, but there's no big action sequence to finish it off which is a shame.

I'm looking forward to the next episode!
